Venous blood glucose levels in fifty healthy subjects. 
Each subject was given a 100g oral glucose load and grouped according to the time at which the nadir occurred. In two subjects, the lowest venous blood glucose level was observed at 120 minutes following glucose loading; however in twenty-seven subjects it was at 240 minutes, and in eight it was at 300 minutes.
